The Details You Should Confirm First

Ottawa Provincial Offences Court: Main Office

The City of Ottawa lists its main Provincial Offences Court office at the Mary Pitt Centre, 100 Constellation Drive. Satellite offices offer selected services, but are not interchangeable with your hearing location. Follow the address and attendance instructions on your own notice. This is not a ParaCan office.

Read the ticket or summons

Check whether your document is a ticket, summons or notice of trial. Ottawa publishes separate appearance instructions, including remote connections for certain matters. Confirm the date, time, courtroom and attendance method rather than travelling to a service counter by assumption.

Preserve the useful details

Save the original document, take clear photos of both sides, and record the date, road, traffic conditions and sequence of events while the details are fresh. Do not alter the ticket or summons.

Check official court information

Use the official court source to confirm current hours, online tools and filing instructions. Your own document controls the deadline and correct court location.

Ottawa traffic ticket FAQs

Clear Answers Before You Choose How to Respond

Where is the Ottawa traffic court office?

Ottawa lists its main Provincial Offences Court office at the Mary Pitt Centre, 100 Constellation Drive. Other service counters provide selected services. The hearing location and attendance instructions on your own ticket, summons or notice must be checked separately.

Is my Ottawa court appearance in person or online?

Do not assume. Ottawa publishes phone and Zoom instructions for certain Provincial Offences appearances, including summons matters. Check your notice and the current City instructions, and confirm uncertainties with the court or your retained representative. Do not use an old meeting link from another case.

Does a summons have the same response deadline as a ticket?

No. A standard Ontario offence notice normally requires a response within 15 days of receipt. A summons requires attendance as directed on the stated date. Read every page. Sending ParaCan a case-review request does not arrange attendance or retain the firm.

Can ParaCan review an Ottawa no-insurance summons?

Yes. Send every page of the summons and tell us the court date and any related charges. Preserve policy, cancellation and reinstatement records for the alleged offence date, but do not upload those sensitive supporting records to the preliminary inquiry form. Ask us how to provide them.

What should I prepare for an Ottawa driving-while-suspended charge?

Keep the ticket or summons, suspension notices, Ministry correspondence and licence-status records together. Your present licence status and a charge about earlier driving are separate questions. Do not drive unless your licence is valid; a case-review request does not change that status.

What does Ottawa traffic-ticket representation cost?

Representation starts from just $399 CAD + HST; some matters start higher. Your fee depends on the charges, driving history, complexity and services required. ParaCan confirms your quote and scope before you retain us. Call or send your document for a free, no-obligation case review.
